Doom Player is a media player. Most of what it does happens entirely on your device, and this policy is written to make the boundary clear rather than to cover everything with one vague sentence.
The following never leave your device:
The application has no user accounts. You are not asked to register, sign in, or supply your name, email address or phone number to use it.
Doom Player is distributed in two builds of the same application. The build on AppGallery includes features the build on Google Play does not, and this policy covers both. Anything below marked (AppGallery build only) is absent from the Google Play build, along with the permissions and data handling described for it:
Casting to a Chromecast device is available in both builds and is handled by Google's Cast framework.
When you play an item from our online catalogue, the application sends your position in that item to our server so you can resume it later. The record contains a profile identifier, an item identifier, an episode identifier where one applies, the item's duration, your current position, and a playback token.
This does not happen for files stored on your device. Playing your own videos sends nothing to us.
The application requests its configuration and checks for a newer version from our server. As with any internet request, our server receives your IP address and the application version; we use these to deliver the response and to keep the service working.
The application is free and supported by advertising. Our advertising and analytics partners receive:
If notifications are enabled, the push service issues a token that identifies your installation so a message can reach it. The token is not linked to your identity.
When the application crashes, a report is sent containing the error, the state of the application at the time, and device information such as model and operating system version. Diagnostic logging is disabled in released builds.
Each permission below is requested for the stated purpose only. Permissions marked on demand are requested at the moment the feature is used, with an explanation shown first, and the application continues to work if you decline — only that feature is unavailable.

Android requires the RECORD_AUDIO permission for its Visualizer
interface, which is what draws the moving bars in the equalizer. That interface reads the audio
the application is itself playing. Doom Player does not open the microphone, does not record, and
transmits no audio of any kind. If you decline this permission, playback and the equalizer's
sound settings continue to work; only the moving visual is unavailable.
These services process data under their own privacy policies:
On a Huawei device without Google Mobile Services, the Google components above are inactive and the Huawei equivalents are used instead.
We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with the service providers listed in §6, for the purposes described, and with legal authorities where we are required by law to do so.
Playback progress is kept while it is useful for resuming, and is removed when you delete it or on request. Crash reports and analytics are retained according to the retention periods of the providers in §6. Everything held on your device is removed when you uninstall the application.
The application is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that we have, we delete it.
Traffic to our servers uses HTTPS. Network-share passwords are encrypted on the device as described in §1. Our servers and the providers in §6 may process data in countries other than yours; where that happens, it is done under those providers' own safeguards. No system is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

If this policy changes, the revised version is published on this page with a new version number and effective date. Material changes will be brought to your attention inside the application.

يطلب التطبيق إعداداته ويتحقّق من وجود إصدار أحدث من خادمنا. وكما هو الحال مع أي طلب عبر الإنترنت، يتلقّى خادمنا عنوان IP الخاص بك وإصدار التطبيق، ونستخدمهما لتسليم الاستجابة وللحفاظ على عمل الخدمة.
التطبيق مجاني ومموَّل بالإعلانات. يتلقّى شركاؤنا في الإعلانات والتحليلات ما يلي:
إذا كانت الإشعارات مفعّلة، تصدر خدمة الإشعارات رمزًا يعرّف نسختك المثبّتة كي تصلها الرسالة. ولا يُربط هذا الرمز بهويتك.
عند تعطّل التطبيق، يُرسل تقرير يتضمّن الخطأ وحالة التطبيق حينها ومعلومات الجهاز مثل الطراز وإصدار نظام التشغيل. وتسجيل التشخيص معطّل في النسخ المنشورة.
كل إذن أدناه يُطلب للغرض المذكور فقط. الأذونات الموسومة عند الحاجة تُطلب في اللحظة التي تُستخدم فيها الميزة، مع عرض شرح قبل الطلب، ويستمرّ التطبيق في العمل إذا رفضت — تتعطّل تلك الميزة وحدها.

يفرض أندرويد إذن RECORD_AUDIO لواجهة Visualizer، وهي التي ترسم الأعمدة
المتحرّكة في معادِل الصوت. وتقرأ هذه الواجهة الصوت الذي يشغّله التطبيق نفسه. لا يفتح Doom Player

تعالج هذه الخدمات البيانات وفق سياسات الخصوصية الخاصة بها:
على جهاز هواوي لا تتوفّر فيه خدمات Google، تكون مكوّنات Google أعلاه معطّلة وتُستخدم نظائرها من هواوي.
نحن لا نبيع المعلومات الشخصية. ولا تُشارَك البيانات إلا مع مزوّدي الخدمات المذكورين في البند ٦، وللأغراض الموصوفة، ومع الجهات القانونية حين يلزمنا القانون بذلك.
يُحتفظ بموضع التشغيل ما دام مفيدًا للاستئناف، ويُحذف عند حذفك له أو بناءً على طلبك. أمّا تقارير الأعطال والتحليلات فتخضع لمدد الاحتفاظ لدى المزوّدين في البند ٦. وكل ما هو محفوظ على جهازك يُزال عند إلغاء تثبيت التطبيق.
التطبيق غير موجَّه للأطفال دون سنّ ١٣، ولا نجمع بياناتهم عن علم. وإذا تبيّن لنا خلاف ذلك، نحذفها.
تُنقل البيانات إلى خوادمنا عبر HTTPS. وكلمات مرور المشاركات الشبكية مشفّرة على الجهاز كما ورد في البند ١. وقد تعالج خوادمنا والمزوّدون في البند ٦ البيانات في دول غير دولتك، وحين يحدث ذلك يتمّ وفق ضمانات هؤلاء المزوّدين. ولا يوجد نظام آمن تمامًا، ولا ندّعي ذلك.
